Events

High school junior Caroline Corbally recently started a club at Staples High School in Westport, Connecticut to raise money for Sahara Children. Her club hosted a bake sale in March 2012 where fellow students offered cookies, cupcakes, brownies, and rice krispies for sale. A similar event at the school followed in May. All proceeds donated will aid in the ongoing mission of The Children of the Sahara Foundation to help women and children located in the remote regions of the Sahara Desert.

UPDATE 2013: Young Ms. Corbally held another bake sale at her school in Fall 2012 and raised an additional $115 for Children of the Sahara Foundation. Our sincerest thanks goes to Caroline and her classmates for their efforts.

UPDATE 2014: With Caroline going off to college, the torch has been passed to her sister Rachel, a sophomore at Staples High School. The most recent bake sale raised $80 for Sahara Children.
